The Centre for Inclusion and Diversity (CID) is a workplace training service that supports organisations across Australia to build more inclusive, respectful, and collaborative workplaces. Our focus is on helping teams work well together by strengthening everyday inclusionary practices that support fairness, belonging, and positive workplace culture.
We believe that when people feel respected, included, and valued, they are more engaged in their work, communicate more effectively, and perform at their best. Inclusionary practices also demonstrate an organisation’s genuine commitment to employee wellbeing, workplace satisfaction, and long-term success.
CID offers a range of practical professional learning programs delivered virtually, making them accessible to teams regardless of location. Our training supports staff to develop greater cultural awareness and cultural proficiency, understand how bias can influence workplace decisions and interactions, and build inclusive behaviours that improve communication and collaboration across the organisation.
Our programs are designed to be evidence-based, practical, and relevant to Australian workplace contexts, with a strong focus on real-world application rather than theory alone. We work alongside organisations to support meaningful learning that can be applied immediately in day-to-day work.

At the Centre for Inclusion and Development, we take a practical, people-centred approach to inclusion and workplace development. We understand that every organisation is different, and that meaningful inclusion is not about box-ticking or one-off training sessions. It is about how people work together day-to-day, how decisions are made, and whether staff feel respected, heard, and given fair opportunities to contribute and grow.
Our work is grounded in evidence-based research and informed by Dr Armen Karamanian’s academic and professional background in inclusion, diversity, cultural awareness, and equity. We combine this research foundation with real-world workplace experience to ensure training is relevant, practical, and immediately applicable in Australian organisational contexts.
CID’s approach is collaborative and respectful. We create learning environments where people feel safe to ask questions, reflect honestly, and engage in constructive discussion without fear of blame or judgement. We recognise that conversations about inclusion can feel challenging at times, and we support participants to navigate these conversations with confidence, care, and professionalism.
While the Centre for Inclusion and Development is a new consultancy, our approach reflects many years of experience designing and facilitating inclusion and diversity training across higher education, public sector, and organisational settings in Australia and internationally. We are committed to partnering with organisations that want to build workplaces where people get along, work well together, and feel included in decisions that affect them.
