Professional woman with glasses and curly hair.

Armen is a natural facilitator and educator. As a lecturer and course facilitator at the University of Technology Sydney, he designed and ran interactive workshops for students. Student reviews of his teaching were consistently glowing and comments highlighted his ability to clearly explain complex concepts and to make course content about another country and culture relatable.

Professional man smiling in business attire.

Armen is a systems designer. You see this most clearly in his facilitation. I have seen him take what most would consider a customary system of, "sit and get" professional development, where people are merely listening and being talked at, and turn it into an experiential, reflective, and quality learning experience. His facilitation skills are, quite frankly, second to none. In meeting rooms of seasoned educators, district veterans and administrators, I have watched Armen hold his own, and even outshine, many of our most senior facilitators.

Man with glasses and striped shirt.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Dr Karamanian in the School of International Studies and Education between 2016 and 2020 at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia [...] From my perspective as the Subject Coordinator of FIS, Dr Karamanian was a highly respected and trusted part of the large teaching team, who met his responsibilities with due diligence, passion and care. Dr Karamanian’s student feedback satisfaction rates were among the highest in the teaching team. I found him to be dependable, punctual, a great team player, and exceedingly conscientious, and was especially impressed by his inputs into and commitment toward teaching development.
